Ron is an experienced and highly successful trial lawyer. He has extensive jury trial and bench trial experience for plaintiffs and defendants in the state and federal courts and has mediated and arbitrated countless other cases over his 30+ year legal career. His complex litigation practice includes areas such as business and commercial law, professional malpractice (legal/accounting/real estate/medical), health care, employment, insurance, officer and director liability, financial fraud, real estate, bankruptcy, unfair competition and trade secret, and personal injury. Ron also serves as outside general counsel to several successful California businesses, and as personal legal counsel to many high-net-worth individuals. He has also been retained to serve as an expert witness in claims involving legal malpractice and legal ethics.

Ron completed his undergraduate education at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. While at LMU he was the University’s Student Body President, played Division 1 intercollegiate baseball, and engaged in volunteer work through the Crimson Circle service organization. He is also a member of Sigma Pi fraternity. He obtained his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.

Active in the professional community, Ron has spoken and presented continuing education seminars on various topics related to business litigation, trial strategies, and legal ethics. He is also involved in his local community and sits on various boards for numerous charities and non-profit organizations.

Obtained a $36 million judgment for fraud on behalf of a local businessman against his former business partner.

Helped a group of high-net-worth individuals obtain a $6 million judgment against defendants involved in operating a fraudulent (Ponzi) scheme.

Represented the last surviving member of the Royal Hawaiian family, Princess Abigail Kawananakoa in successfully defending against employment claims relating to her racehorse enterprise.

Represented former Democratic presidential candidate and prominent trial lawyer in defending against judgment enforcement proceedings by his former law partners and other creditors.
