Chris R. Basler is a successful and persuasive negotiator and litigator who offers both bundled and unbundled services. He is a compassionate and empathetic attorney who believes that open communication, vigorous preparation and a reasonable position are the keys to a positive and desired resolution. Additionally, Mr. Basler understands that a domestic relations client is living through one of most emotionally challenging periods of their entire life. Mr. Basler’s goal is to help his clients navigate through these difficult and confusing times as well as help them move forward with their lives in a healthy and positive way.

Mr. Basler started Basler Family Law, PLLC, because he wanted to create a family law firm that focused on clients, their families and their future. When a chapter in life ends, a new one also begins. Mr. Basler is committed to finding resolutions for clients and their families that help end the previous chapter in life in a fair and equitable manner as well as help propel them into the next chapter in their lives.

Mr. Basler works diligently in the representation of his clients in all manners of domestic relations cases.  Mr. Basler is well versed in matters concerning complex divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support issues, contempt, relocation, dependency & neglect, uncontested divorce, grandparents’ rights and post decree litigation.

Additionally, Mr. Basler has worked as a Guardian Ad Litem in Arapahoe County. As a Guardian Ad Litem, Mr. Basler worked tirelessly to advocate for children and their best interests. Through his experience as a Guardian Ad Litem, Mr. Basler possesses an enhanced knowledge of the effects that family law matters have on children and works to ensure that the best interests of children are always incorporated in the resolution of any domestic matter.

Mr. Basler is licensed to practice in Colorado and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
