Chris was originally born in Clarksville, Tennessee, but moved to the Tri-Cities area when he was five. He attended kindergarten through high school here, graduating from Kamiakin High School in Kennewick. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Washington University, and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
