Chelsea Merta is a lifelong public servant and community activist. She previously served as staff attorney for ArchCity Defenders, representing and advocating for homeless, indigent, and underserved women in the St. Louis County Municipal Court system.
She serves on the young professionals boards for the Missouri Botanical Garden and was a founding member of the Young Friends of Brightside St. Louis. Chelsea is fluent in Spanish & speaks conversational French.
She also has served as a consultant for St. Louis-area legislators and policymakers, assisting with drafting legislation for consumer issues, environmental concerns, civil rights, women’s rights, and social justice.

Greg Rosenfeld was born and raised in Manhasset, New York. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in both English and Philosophy. While in college, Greg began volunteering as a Criminal Defense Investigator for the Boulder branch of the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender.
Upon graduating, Greg returned to New York to become a Criminal Defense Investigator for the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Practice in Queens. In this role, he spent two years investigating hundreds of high profile felony cases.
Greg’s success in New York led to him receiving a full academic and public interest scholarship to the Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. While in law school, Greg received numerous honors and awards.
Most notably, he was an editor of The Roger Williams University Law Review and a member of the Honors Program. Greg graduated magna cum laude from law school in 2011.
Public Defender Experience
Following law school, Greg moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in August 2011. He accepted a position as an Assistant Public Defender in the 15th Judicial Circuit Office of the Public Defender in Palm Beach County. During his four years at the Public Defender’s Office, Greg handled hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases. These cases included DUIs, burglaries, drug trafficking offenses, sex offenses, and attempted first-degree murders. Greg has tried more than 40 criminal cases.
In addition to his extensive trial experience, Greg has a well-honed appellate skill set. While in law school, he worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Francis X. Flaherty of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He also handled habeas petitions for death row inmates for the California Appellate Project. As a practicing attorney in Florida, Greg has argued in front of the Fourth District Court of Appeal.

Bill Skopelja was born and raised in Northwest Indiana, about 45 minutes outside of Chicago. He received his Bachelors Degree in English Literature from Purdue University in 2004 and his J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Law in 2007.
While attending NSU law school, Mr. Skopelja completed an internship at The Everglades Law Center. The ELC is a nonprofit law firm dedicated to representing the public interest in environmental and land use matters focused on preserving the Everglades and the Florida Keys. While interning at the ELC, he handled a wide range of environmental matters, including land use, wetlands permitting and the protection of endangered species.
After completing his internship in Environmental Law, Mr. Skopelja wanted to continue to be the voice of those in need. As such, Bill began his personal injury career at The Schiller Kessler Group in 2007.

Afterwards, he joined UBS Financial Services Inc. as a Financial Advisor, where he successfully managed over $30 million dollars for multiple clients for over 5 years, earning multiple awards. Luis attended Law School as a night student while working full time as a Financial Advisor, and successfully earned his Juris Doctor (JD). Before starting his own personal injury law firm, he worked as a corporate and immigration attorney at Toppins Law Firm, P.C. He then joined Sibrian Law Firm, P.C. as a personal injury attorney. Attorney Mathew A. Work was born in Henderson, NV where he was raised by his single-mother and grandfather. From a young age Mathew understood the value of education.
Mathew attended the University of Nevada, Reno and earned a degree in economics, graduating summa cum laude. While in college Mathew was a collegiate athlete playing both lacrosse and football.
After college, Mathew moved to Washington D.C. where he attended graduate school at American University. Mathew worked on Capital Hill as an intern. Mathew was able to work side by side with members of Congress.
Upon leaving Washington D.C., he attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law on a full academic scholarship and graduated magna cum laude. Mathew passed the Nevada bar on his first attempt and accepted a position as an associate attorney where he successfully defended criminal cases at jury trial.
