Stephanie attended The Florida State Univeristy majoring in Psychology and English, and minoring in Spanish, and graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Stephanie attended The Florida State University College of Law, receiving a full academic scholarship due to her academics and high credentials. During law school, Stephanie focused her studies on the areas of family law and juvenile law, working and interning with private law firms in the local area. Stephanie became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern where she handled numerous family law cases at the college’s Public Interest Law Center, and also served as a Certified Legal Intern within the juvenile division at the State Attorney’s Office, Second Judicial Circuit. During law school, Stephanie worked with the Tallahassee Bar Association Legal Aid Foundation, where she became the Director of the Family Law Pro Se Program. During law school, Stephanie interned with The Honorable Mary K. Polson, Circuit Judge, First Judicial Circuit, further expanding and enhancing Stephanie’s knowledge and experience with family law and dependency cases. In 2014, Stephanie joined the Law Firm of Tonya C. Petermann, P.A. as an Associate Attorney. Stephanie is a focused, determined and ethical attorney whose top priority is to get the relief her clients are seeking!
