Lawyer Profile

I am the Senior Partner of Lovein Ribman and Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, an honor held by only approximately 100 Texas lawyers. My primary goal is to ensure that you receive the highest quality legal representation possible from all of our attorneys. To me, that means providing you and your company with a lawyer who listens to your concerns and understands your business, who is responsive to your needs 24 hours a day, and who will strategically and aggressively protect your interests from the outset to the very end. It also means adding value to your business, always keeping you informed, and being cost conscious. I personally guarantee that this is the type of legal representation that you will receive from all of the attorneys at Lovein Ribman.

As your litigator, my goal is always the same—to win! If I am prosecuting a claim, that means obtaining for you a high dollar settlement or judgment. If I am defending a case, that means minimizing your exposure. With almost 20 years of litigation experience, I have prosecuted and defended nearly every type of case imaginable through binding arbitration, mediation, administrative hearings, state court, and federal court.

As your counselor, my goal is to protect you and your business. That means providing you the highest quality advice and representation through legal opinions, creation of legal documents, and closing deals. I accomplish this end by understanding your business, knowing the laws that protect you, and working with you to implement them in a way that will grow your business.

I began my legal career on the east coast over 20 years ago at Syracuse College of Law, where I was a research assistant to the Dean, a tutor, and an Editor of the Syracuse Law Review. I spent a summer in London, England clerking for a Barrister whose focus was defending white collar crime. During my third year of law school I was a visiting student at the University of San Diego, School of Law. In 1997 I began private practice working for a defense firm defending the nations largest insurance companies, fortune 500 companies, and public entities against construction defects, employment disputes, discrimination claims, catastrophic personal injury claims, and wrongful death. For over the last decade, I have primarily litigated construction disputes, business disputes, employment disputes, catastrophic personal injury, and wrongful death claims.
