Attorney Katherina Butakova Alznauer obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law in 2011. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2004. Licensed by the State of California Bar in 2014. Admitted to the California Supreme Court and to the United States District Court, Central District of California, in 2014. Ms. Alznauer has almost 15 years of experience in Immigration Law. During this time, she gained enormous experience in family- and especially business- immigration. Ms. Alznauer’s current law practice at Perry & Associates focuses on complex business immigration, aliens of extraordinary ability (scientists, artists, businessmen and others). She has extensive experience with visas and green cards for investors, work and student visas, as well as international business transfers to the United States. In the family based field, her most recent interest includes assisting the LGBT community acquiring equal immigration law benefits, family unity and seeking political asylum for those whose rights are abused abroad. Ms. Alznauer frequently represents our clients during the interviews at the Immigration Service. An immigrant herself, Ms. Alznauer knows what it is like to need a work permit and green card, therefore she is always ready to help. Ms. Alznauer is a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, State of California Bar and American Bar Association. Born in Belarus, Ms. Alznauer is fluent in Russian and Belorussian. She reads Polish, Ukrainian and French.
