Maegen Fox grew up in the small hill-country town of Marble Falls, Texas. She earned her B.S. from Texas A&M University with a major in Human Resource Development and a minor in Business Administration. After graduating from Texas A&M, Maegen spent three years working as a human resource manager and advisor in the oil & gas and healthcare industries.
Maegen attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas where she earned her J.D. At South Texas, she was President of the Real Estate Law Society. She also participated in South Texas Mock Trial team competitions. Maegen also received the CALI Award for Excellence for her legal research and writing skills in Advanced Products Liability.
While in law school, Maegen gained experience by completing internships for the 308th District Court and Harris County District Clerk’s office, and by clerking for a law firm specializing in mass tort litigation.
Maegen is involved with numerous volunteer organizations in the community of Odessa. She volunteers as a Judge for Ector County’s Teen Court Program. She is a Board Member for Odessa Day Nursery, which is a non-profit that provides discounted child-care to over 110 children. She is also a member of the Junior League of Odessa and Young Professionals of Odessa.
