A.J. Goleh concentrates his practice in helping personal injury victims and their families. He chose this profession because he believed in helping the injured getting justice and fair compensation for their losses, which were caused by someone else’s fault. He understands every case is different because every injury is different. He knows some injuries are life changing. In addition to being painful, these injuries can be unduly burdensome and may threaten their earning potential and their family’s financial security. The money received from the defendant will never put the injured party back in the same position they were in before the accident. However, the compensation received will allow the injured victims to get their lives back on track and receive the essential and necessary medical treatments that they need, while also providing them with the financial security they deserve.
A.J. focuses primarily on auto/trucking/motorcycle collision cases, pedestrian accidents, wrongful death, and premises liability. A.J. has previously represented as many as 1000 injured clients and recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients. A.J. is well known and respected throughout the legal community by both plaintiff and defense attorneys.
A.J. is among a select group of trial attorneys that has graduated from the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming. He is also a graduate of CAALA Plaintiff Trial Academy. He believes life is about constant learning and that you never stop learning. Once you stop being a student, you’ll stop growing. A.J. is an avid member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. Each year, he attends numerous personal injury seminars around the State.
Aside from his work as a lawyer, A.J. is an avid martial artist and holds a 1st degree Black Belt in Hapkido. However, what remain most important to A.J. (in addition to his two boys) are his pro bono work and the passion of giving back to the community. A.J. has worked pro bono for multiple years as a volunteer at Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County (NLSLA). He believes to increase access to justice and help those who can’t afford assistance, we need to take the time without expecting anything in return, and empower them when they have nowhere else to turn. A.J. also has his own yearly “blanket and warm clothes for the homeless” drive, which he personally hand delivers every single item to the misfortunates on the streets.

People often ask me why do you practice personal injury law. Don’t a lot of people define you as an “ambulance chaser”?
It certainly is true that many people look down upon personal injury attorneys as simply opportunists who want to take advantage of a person in a bad situation. However, ask any of my past and present clients what they think, and I believe they will all tell you that without my representation or my firm’s representation, they would not have had a chance.
People do not realize that the law of personal injury and wrongful death is extremely complicated and full of legal pitfalls and technicalities. There is nothing straight forward about any personal injury case. Each case is different based upon the facts and circumstances. many factors come into play when representing injured clients, and a full knowledge of all the possible ramifications that could occur in any one case is absolutely important.
I must say that it is an extremely rewarding experience once a case has been pursued to completion and the client is grateful for the result. I certainly cannot guarantee that all of our results are 100% satisfactory to the client. We sometimes lose, but we are more often successful in obtaining a favorable result for our client. A successful outcome is also very rewarding when one realizes that you are up against high powered and well funded insurance carriers and corporations that can outspend you 10 to 1. Therefore, one needs the knowledge of the law, as well as an aggressive attitude in order to overcome such obstacles.
I have practiced personal injury law for over 30 years. During that time I have learned a great deal about the law, how to succeed and how to obtain a successful outcome for an injured client.
The philosophy of our law firm is clear, in that we have built a firm dedicated to personalized and family-oriented principles, in which the client will always be represented by an attorney that they can talk to, meet with and feel comfortable with. The key to any successful attorney/client relationship is trust. We feel we have earned the trust of thousands of our clients whom we have represented over the years.
If you are looking for a conglomerate firm with hundreds of lawyers, you probably will not want to consult with Legler & Flynn. However, if you are interested in speaking with an attorney one on one, as well as a community oriented organization that has been around the Manatee/Sarasota area for over 20 years, then you may want to speak with one of our attorneys.

He became a Lawyer and has integrated this personal philosophy into his practice so that he could help people through some of the most stressful situations they will face in life. What is Personal Injury? When someone is physically or emotionally injured. The laws covering personal injury allow the injured party to receive compensation for damages caused by someone else’s carelessness, negligence, recklessness, or intentional actions. Personal injury laws place demands on its citizens not to harm others. This means that not only should people be safe from harm, but their possessions should be safe from harm too. If you are injured you may be eligible for compensation for your injuries.
Liability can caused by intentional acts or by negligence.
- An intentional act is one designed to cause harm or injury. The person committing the act wants to harm you
- A negligent act occurs when someone fails to take appropriate action and you are harmed as a result of that failure.
Another form of personal injury law covers strict liability (product liability)
- The product may be defective because of an error in the manufacturing process
- Consumers are not warned of possible bad effects from the use of the product.
- The product has design flaw that makes it dangerous.
In most personal injury cases, the victim must have suffered some sort of physical, mental, and/or financial harm to have a claim for damages.
If you believe your personal injury was caused by the carelessness or intentional act of another, and you live in Southern California, you may want to contact Mason Rashtian to discuss your possible case.
You should call as soon as it is convenient to do so and avoid discussing personal injuries with strangers and/or insurance representative who are not from your own insurance company. However, you should be cooperative with the police, your own treating physicians and your own insurance company.
